Terms of Service

The service

ClipClap ("we", "us") turns long videos into short vertical clips with subtitles. It works on the website at clipclap.io and in the Telegram bot @clipclapio_bot. You have one account and one minute balance for both. By using ClipClap you agree to these terms.

Plans and payment

• ClipClap has paid plans only: Starter (weekly or monthly), Plus (monthly) and Max (monthly).
• Prices and minutes of each plan are shown on the pricing page.
• Payments on the website are processed by Stripe. In the Telegram bot they are processed by Stripe or Tribute.
• Subscriptions renew automatically every week or month until you cancel.
• The first-week price of Starter weekly is an intro offer for new customers only. After the first week the standard weekly price applies.
• Prices exclude VAT and sales tax. Where they apply, they are added at checkout and paid by the customer.

Minutes

• Each plan gives a number of source minutes per billing period. Minutes are counted by the length of the video (or of the part) you send, not by the clips you keep.
• Unused plan minutes do not carry over to the next period.
• Top-up minutes are valid for the current billing period.
• If a video fails on our side, its minutes come back to your balance.

Cancellation

You can cancel at any time in Billing on the website or in the Telegram bot. Your plan stays active until the end of the period you paid for, and no further payments are taken.

Refund policy

A payment can be refunded only if you have not used the service after it: no video processed and no clips generated. Write to hello@clipclap.io within 14 days of the payment and we refund it in full.

As soon as at least one clip has been generated, that payment is not refundable, including the rest of the period. Processing a video uses paid AI services on our side: transcription, analysis, translation and dubbing.

When you start processing a video you ask us to provide the service immediately, and you agree that once a clip has been generated you lose the right to withdraw from that payment.

Minutes returned for a failed video are credited to your balance, not refunded in money.

Your content

• You must own the videos you send or have permission to use them. You are responsible for the clips you publish.
• Do not send illegal content or content you are not allowed to share.
• We may refuse a video or suspend an account that breaks these rules or abuses the service.

Earnings programs

The affiliate program and the ad banner program have their own terms, shown in the dashboard. Joining them is optional.

No warranty

The service is provided as is. Clips are made by AI and can contain mistakes, so check them before you publish. We are not liable for indirect losses or for how you use the clips.
