How to clip streams for Whop campaigns

Updated October 2026

To clip streams for Whop, join a Content Rewards campaign, read its rules, cut vertical clips from the creator's streams, post them to TikTok, Instagram or YouTube, and submit the post link in the Content Rewards app. Brands pay per 1,000 views at a rate they set. ClipClap does the cutting step: it finds the moments, reframes to 9:16 and adds subtitles.

How do Whop clipping campaigns pay?

A brand or creator opens a campaign in Whop's Content Rewards app, sets a rate per 1,000 views and funds a budget. Clippers post clips, submit the links, and are paid for the views those posts get. Whop's own blog says brands set their own rates and "only pay for the views you get".

Rates differ by campaign. Whop's Content Rewards blog gives $1 per 1,000 views as an average and cites a music campaign at 30 cents. Whop's Whop Clips post lists $1.25 per 1,000 views for YouTube clips. Each campaign sets its own rate, so check it before you spend time on a campaign.

What rules do campaigns usually have?

Each campaign lists its own rules under the reward in the app, along with the remaining monthly budget. Each campaign sets its own rate, minimums and rules, so read them before you cut anything.

The Whop pages we read did not cover fees, minimum payouts or review times, so confirm those inside the app. The rules belong to each campaign and change often.

How do I pick a campaign worth clipping?

Look at three numbers: the rate per 1,000 views, the budget left this month, and the cap per clip. A high rate with a nearly empty budget pays nothing. Then check the source: you need a stream or VOD with enough talk and reactions, and the campaign must allow clips from it.

Start with one campaign, post five clips and look at the real view counts before you scale. Views are the only thing that pays, so your own numbers beat any rate card.

How do I turn a stream into clips with ClipClap?

Paste the VOD link or send the file to the ClipClap bot or the web app. ClipClap transcribes it, picks the strongest moments, cuts each one, reframes it to vertical, keeps the webcam and the gameplay in one frame for streams, and burns in subtitles. Download the clips and post them from your own account.

ClipClap has no Whop integration. It does not submit clips for you and does not connect to your Whop account. It only produces the files; posting and submitting stay with you. The Whop clipping tool page covers this split in more detail.

What clip length and format should I post?

Vertical 9:16, with subtitles, between 20 and 60 seconds for most moments. Check the campaign for a required length or hashtag first. A campaign that asks for something different from your default wins. YouTube Shorts accept up to 3 minutes; the length guide has the details per platform.

ClipClap clips run 15 to 90 seconds, so you can usually pick clips that fit a campaign's range. If one is slightly long, trim it in the browser editor before you download.

How do I submit clips and get paid?

Post the clip on the platform the campaign names, then submit the post URL, and the media file if asked, through the Content Rewards app. Whop's Whop Clips post says submissions are tracked in the app and approved payouts are instant, though each campaign decides what it approves.

Keep a record of what you posted and where. If a submission is rejected, the campaign rules are the first place to look.

What does the tooling cost?

Plans start at €3.99 ($4.49) a week for 60 minutes or €12 ($13.99) a month for 200 minutes, with 3-hour sources, subtitle translation, background choice and 3 re-cuts.

Billing is by source minute, not by clip, so a 2-hour stream costs 120 minutes whether it returns 4 clips or 14. See the pricing page for every plan, and the price-per-minute page for how other tools charge.

Try it on your own video

Paid plans start at €3.99 ($4.49) a week, and the first week is €1.99 ($2.29) for new customers. Send a link or a file to the bot and the clips come back in the same chat. Plans and limits are on the pricing page.
