Vizard alternative: an honest comparison with ClipClap
Updated October 2026
ClipClap is a Vizard alternative if you want clips from long videos with no watermark and billing by source minute. Vizard's free plan has 60 credits a month, 720p export and 10-minute exports, per its pricing page in October 2026. Vizard accepts larger uploads: 30 GB and 600 minutes on paid plans, against ClipClap's 2 GB files.
What does Vizard's free plan include?
Vizard's pricing page lists 60 monthly credits, uploads up to 60 minutes and 1 GB, 720p export, exports up to 10 minutes long, 3 days of video storage and one connected social account. The page describes the Creator plan as "no watermark" on top of Free, which implies the free plan adds one, but it does not say so outright.
The paid plans Creator and Business list from 600 credits, uploads of 600 minutes and 30 GB, 4K upload and export, and exports of any length. The page says 1 credit is 1 minute of video. We could not read the dollar prices for Creator and Business, so we do not quote any.
What do ClipClap's paid plans include?
Paid plans cost €3.99 ($4.49) a week for 60 minutes or €12 ($13.99) a month for 200 minutes on Starter, and add sources up to 3 hours, subtitles in 15 languages, all background footage, 3 re-cuts and the advertiser program. The pricing page has every plan.
How do the two compare side by side?
The table below sets the facts we could read next to each other. The units differ: Vizard sells credits, one per minute of video, while ClipClap sells minutes of source video. Vizard's paid tiers accept uploads of 30 GB and 600 minutes, against 2 GB files for ClipClap, and export in 4K.
| ClipClap | Vizard | |
|---|---|---|
| Free allowance | No free plan right now | 60 credits a month |

Which one handles streams and VODs better?
ClipClap is built around long recordings: it places a streamer's webcam and the gameplay in one vertical frame, finds moments across 2 to 3 hours of talk, and takes Twitch, YouTube and TikTok links directly. Vizard's pages we read did not describe a stream layout, so we make no claim about it either way.
Test both on one real VOD. Layout and moment choice on gameplay are visible within seconds, and no feature list replaces that check.
Does ClipClap watermark exports?
No. ClipClap exports have no watermark, at up to 1080p.
Check the Vizard side yourself on a test export: whether a watermark appears on the free plan is the one fact its pricing page leaves implicit.
Who should stay on Vizard?
Stay on Vizard if you need 4K export, uploads of 600 minutes or 30 GB, scheduling to several social accounts, or an editor-first workflow with team seats. ClipClap accepts files up to 2 GB and sources up to 3 hours, has no scheduling or publishing, and offers no team workspace.
Pick ClipClap if you clip streams or podcasts for TikTok, Reels and Shorts, want the Telegram bot, or want predictable weekly billing. ClipClap launched in 2026, so its public history is short.
How should I test the two before paying?
Run the same 30 to 60 minute video through both tools and compare four things: how many of the picked moments you would post, whether the first seconds of each clip make sense on their own, whether the subtitles spell names and game terms correctly, and how the vertical framing treats a second speaker. Write the answers down for each clip; five clips from each tool is enough to see a pattern.
Then price it against your real volume. Count the source minutes you process in a typical month, not the best month, and compare that figure with each plan allowance. A tool that fits the average month and lets you top up in a busy one costs less than a plan sized for the peak.
Try it on your own video
Paid plans start at €3.99 ($4.49) a week, and the first week is €1.99 ($2.29) for new customers. Send a link or a file to the bot and the clips come back in the same chat. Plans and limits are on the pricing page.
