What is a clipper?
A clipper cuts short vertical clips from long videos, such as streams and podcasts, and posts them on TikTok, Instagram Reels or YouTube Shorts. Many clippers are paid per 1,000 views through clipping campaigns run by brands and creators.
How much do clippers make?
It depends on the campaign rate and your views. Whop gives $1 per 1,000 views as an average, so 100,000 views pay about $100 and 1 million views about $1,000. Music campaigns can pay less, around 30 cents per 1,000.
Is ClipClap free?
No. Every ClipClap plan is paid. Starter costs €1.99 ($2.29) for the first week, then €3.99 ($4.49) a week for 60 source minutes. At $1 per 1,000 views, 4,490 views pay for that week.
Does ClipClap find advertisers for me?
Yes, for customers on a paid plan. Apply with a link to your channel. We review it, and when an advertiser fits, they pay to put a banner on top of your clips, around $200 per million views. Rates vary, and not every channel is accepted.
Does ClipClap work with Whop campaigns?
ClipClap has no Whop integration. It makes the clips; you post them and submit the links in Whop's Content Rewards app yourself.
Will campaigns accept clips made with AI?
Each campaign sets its own rules. Most want every post to be unique, with its own caption and edit, and many ban some edit styles. Read the rules first, and add your own caption to each clip.
Which videos can I clip?
Videos you own or have permission to reuse, such as the source streams a campaign gives you. Paste a YouTube or Twitch link or upload a file, up to 3 hours and 2 GB.
Can I clip from my phone?
Yes. The Telegram bot @clipclapio_bot works on any phone: send a link and the clips come back in the chat.
How does the referral program pay?
You get 30% of every payment from people who sign up with your link, for as long as they pay. You can withdraw once your balance reaches $50.
